And it’s been about 2 months since I properly blogged. Work is my main blogging location and work has, since September, been non-stop. I barely have time to think.
Add on top of that some really horribly messy real life stuff, and some really horribly horribly messy in game stuff, and I’ve just been a wreck, and not in the mood to write.
However, as with many of us, The Shattering reinvigorated my love for Warcraft. I’ve been enjoying exploring the game again and my real life is looking up as well. I let my one year blog-a-versary pass me by and hope to celebrate my 2nd one in a better light.
I do have a very very long post going on about Darkshore, as it was my first zone after the Shattering, but it’s about….1/3 done and seems to be massive. I’m going to keep adding to it, however, and hope to have it up, followed by posts on the Plaguelands, Swamp of Sorrows and a couple of other zones, after that.
It’s now just 7 days until Cataclysm. SEVEN!
I have a selection of things I plan on getting done before the 7th December:
- Get as much of Loremaster “re-done” as possible. Currently about 2/3rds through Eastern Kingdoms and really hoping to get it mostly done this weekend!
- Start my new shaman – pick her look, her style, her colouring etc etc. She’s going to have to be a spacegoat as I can’t handle dwarves (I don’t think), but I may move her straight away and not level in the spacegoat zones, but start off in Dun Morogh instead.
- Stock up on fruits and goodies – I’m off work 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th December, then it’s the weekend. My waking hours will be strange, I probably won’t see natural light for a week but it’ll be SO worth it.
- Reinvigorate the blog – posting schedule, selection of bits and pieces to write about, more organisation…
- DECIDE on what order I’m going to level my characters – I keep swapping and changing my mind when I really should just choose. Obviously Elsen will be first but it’s a definite question of who next!
I’m also wondering a fair few things:
- did they re-nerf the drop rate on crocolisks in the city? I’m only missing one!
- is it worth farming ZA for Mojo?
- Why can I not have a horde moonkin AND an alliance moonkin pet? IT’S NOT FAIR!
A plea on behalf of all the alts levelling through the zones, please give them some space there is little they can do when a level 80 comes through nuking the place with the force of deathwing.
