Good evening again fellow travellers. I am afraid first of all I must concede a failure on my part, the foul Ice Trolls repelled me from their capital before I could take a photo of the Pool of Twisted Reflections so instead today I will talk a little about Gundrak itself.
Gundrak as previously mentioned is the capital city of the Drakkari Ice Troll empire, sitting as it does at the very heart of Zul’drak.
As one approaches this imposing structure you will likely see ice trolls engaged in savage and ritualistic battles to the death against one another while their comrades look on cheering their favoured champion. These duels are a integral part of Drakkari culture allowing warriors to hone their skills in battle while culling off the weaker members of the tribe, an arrangement encouraged by their frost king.
The Drakkari are the first trolls in history to attempt to sacrifice their gods in an attempt to steal their power outside of the temple you can see Akali, the rhino god being drained of his power by the priest caste.
Hmm I think I have seen all I need to see here, perhaps its better to sneak off now before they notice me.
